Wonderful hotel.
Location is great. Breakfast is still the best I've ever had at a hotel, and many restaurants. It is an older building, but the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are all helpful and friendly.
Had trouble with my key card working. But we got that straightened out.

Location is very near paulista Avenue, the room is quite spacious, breakfast is good and staff there friendly
The rooms are very dated and need some refurbishment, there were sockets coming off the wall in the bathroom, was disappointed by the quality of the room

Great location, but with some noise
Whenever I go to São Paulo, I enjoy staying close to the Avenida Paulista. I already know the area. Besides, it offers easy access to the subway (a few minutes walk from Trianon-MASP station). From there, you can go anywhere in the city. The room is spacious and has several plug points, including one to connect the USB directly. Breakfast is well served, with replacements all the time. You can also ask a friendly chef to prepare tapioca, omelet, or fried eggs. :)
Unfortunately, a building was under construction right next door. I could see it from the balcony of my room. In front of the hotel, another one. The noise can be a bit annoying, even at night (I don't know if it was because of a generator nearby).
